StallDraft · Early preview

Capture now.
Finish your notes later.

A small sales notebook for independent makers at craft markets. Photograph a sold item or its tag, then add the sale amount and payment method after the rush.

Preview 0.3 · Updated October 10, 2026 · CiiN

Start with one sale

  1. Choose USD or CNY in an empty notebook before adding the first photo. Tap Capture a sale, or import a photo from your library. Each photo becomes a sale draft.
  2. Open the draft. Enter the whole sale amount in your notebook's currency and choose a payment method. CNY notebooks also include WeChat Pay and Alipay as record labels; the app does not process payments. Add a note if useful.
  3. Use Save & next to finish the remaining drafts. Entries with no amount or payment method stay unfinished and do not count toward the recorded total.
  4. Export CSV for a spreadsheet and save a complete backup after your market.

You can explore a fictional example market without changing your own records. A zero amount is accepted only when you enter it explicitly. Once there are records, the notebook currency is fixed. Changing your app language does not convert amounts.

Keep a complete backup

Open the top-right menu, then Backup & help → Save complete backup. Choose a location in Files. The .stalldraft file includes photos, notes, amounts, and payment methods. The preview limit is 100 MB per backup.

To restore, choose Restore from a backup and select the file. Check the market name, currency and entry count before confirming. Restore replaces the current market; it does not merge markets. The app keeps a local copy of the market before the latest restore, available through Recover the market before last restore.

CSV exports do not contain photos and cannot restore a market. Complete backups are not encrypted by StallDraft. Keep them in a location you trust.

Common questions

Why does my total look low?

Only entries with both an amount and a payment method count toward the recorded total. Check the unfinished list. Each record represents the whole sale shown in that photo.

Can I use it without camera access?

Yes. Use Import photos and select only the pictures you want. To enable the camera later, open iPhone Settings and find StallDraft's camera permission.

Does it sync across devices?

There is no account or automatic app sync. You can manually save a complete backup and restore it on another iPhone. iOS device backups may separately include app data, depending on your settings.

Saving or restoring failed. What next?

Keep StallDraft installed. Check available iPhone storage and whether the file is fully downloaded in Files. A backup that fails validation does not replace your market. If the problem continues, email the app version, iOS version, and the steps that caused it. Do not send your full ledger or customer information unless it is necessary and you choose to share it.

What does this preview support?

English and Simplified Chinese, one market notebook in either USD or CNY, capture and import, sale notes, recorded totals, CSV export, and complete backups. It does not take payments, maintain a product catalog, calculate profit or tax, or support refunds and split payments. There are no in-app purchases in this preview.

Can I restore older backups?

Version 0.3 can read the earlier USD backups. Backups containing CNY or the new payment labels require version 0.3 or later; do not rely on version 0.2 to open them.
