What the app saves

The app stores your market name and currency, imported or captured photos, sale dates, notes, amounts, payment methods, and unfinished status in its local storage on your iPhone. These records are used to show your market, calculate the recorded total, and create exports and backups.

StallDraft is a record-keeping app. It does not process payments or request bank details, card numbers, customer contact lists, or an account login.

Photos and permissions

Camera permission is requested when you choose to capture a sale. You can instead import selected photos through the system photo picker, without granting full photo-library access.

Saved copies are resized and re-encoded as JPEGs. StallDraft does not retain their original photo metadata. It does not request location, microphone, or contacts access. A photo or note can still contain information you choose to include, so avoid photographing customer details.

Exports and backups

CSV files contain sale information but no photos. Complete .stalldraft backups contain the market's photos and records. You choose where to save or share these files, including Files, iCloud Drive, or another app. The selected service handles those copies under its own policies.

StallDraft does not encrypt exported files. Restore keeps a local recovery copy of the market before the latest restore. If an existing ledger cannot be read, the app preserves its original file locally before replacing it through restore.

iOS device backups may include StallDraft data, depending on your device and Apple settings. This is separate from automatic app sync, which StallDraft does not provide.

Deleting data

Removing an entry deletes that entry and its active saved photo from the app. Copies already present in exports, device backups, or the previous-market recovery file are separate and may remain.

Deleting the app removes its local data, including its local recovery files. Offloading the app is different and may retain documents. Manage exported files and device backups separately in the service where you saved them.

When you use TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with us. This can include your name and email address, depending on how you joined the test. Apple also shares feedback and screenshots you submit. We use these details to investigate problems and improve StallDraft, not for advertising.
